[…] Talk to you Friday with a new post about my February goal. And looking back at my progress with my January Goal . […]
If you saw my last post about How To| Keep Your New Year Resolutions , you would know that instead of writing a whole list of resolutions to work on at once, I decided to break it down monthly. I sorted the goals by importance, and decided to start with my health.
Towards the end of last year, I focused on toning my body. I was happy with my weight, but really wanted to tone and tighten my body. I feel like I got to a good place before the new year which allows me to focus on my health in January. At the first of this month, my boyfriend and I started a plant-based diet. I’m not going vegetarian, however the majority of our meals have been plant-based. If you’re interested in recipe posts, let me know in the comments!
This month I’m focusing on keeping up with being in shape and focusing on what I’m putting in my body. This is everything from not taking medicine every time I feel a little sick, to drinking a TON of water, and limiting the candy (boo).
I’ve also started exercising more. I was the person who always found an excuse to skip the exercising, but once you get into a routine, it’s a whole lot easier. I’m finally getting my abs back!! It’s important to do something whether it’s a quick 15 minute ab workout at home or a good lengthy workout at the gym.
Anyone who knows me is probably shocked because I’m the carb queen and love nothing more than eating chips while watching Netflix. I’ve really started to educate myself on how important it is to start taking care of your body at a younger age, so you can strengthen your immune system and live a long healthy life!
Here’s to a sick-free, healthy, and happy life! What is your favorite workout? I’m trying to build my workout routine. Let me know in the comments.
