Is it Spring or is it Winter? As usual, Connecticut keeps jumping back and forth. Currently, there is snow on the ground, but this past weekend it hit 50 degrees! I am just counting down the days until I can throw on a dress with sandals and walk out the door. Unfortunately, we’ve got some time to wait.
Here is what I like to wear on those days when it’s 50 and the suns out! No winter jacket for me, because I like to pretend it’s closer to Spring than it really is.
Outfit Details:
Blazer- UNDER $100!!
Jeans- AG ‘Prima’
Purse- Tory Burch ‘Thea’ (sold out)
Flats- ON SALE!!!
Oversized blazers are one of my favorite third pieces to an outfit. It looks like you’ve tried to put something together a lot harder than you did. One of my goals this year is to play more with layers because I’m notorious for my v-neck and jean looks on my off days. By cuffing my jeans at the bottom, throwing on this blazer, and walking in the streets of Hartford, I have myself a nice streetstyle outfit!
What’s your go to outfit on a day off? The best part about this outfit is that I can swap the jeans for work pants, and I now have an outfit for work as well. It’s so versitale, and a good investment because you can buy less items but learn how to put them together in different ways.
I was thinking about doing a post about staple pieces and what to buy/how to style them. Let me know if you’d be interested in that by liking this post and/or commenting below!!
