Wow, I cannot believe it’s been 6 months since I started working on positivity and Law of Attraction. Last September (2017), I experienced a LOT of change in my life all at once. I quit a job I was comfortable at but wasn’t enjoying due to lack of work-life balance and inability to focus on myself. I ended a toxic long-term friendship that we both knew just needed to be done. I moved in with the love of my life which moved me farther away from my family. I took the leap after 5 years of not working hard at my blog, even though it was a huge contributor to my happiness and decided to put full-time effort into it.
As you can see it was a lot of different changes that can throw a person off their game. I had a hard time adjusting towards the end of last year and beginning of this year. I drove to my brother’s house one night and had a long discussion about how stressed out I was and wasn’t sure what I was going to do for work or how things were going to turn out. He spent some time educating me on the Law of Attraction. I wrote more of the back story to this already, so you can read all of my past Law of Attraction posts if you’re interested! I’ll link them at the end!
So 6 months ago I switched out listening to music on my drive to work to either listening to a Law of Attraction playlist or an educational podcast like The Influencer Podcast or The Gold Digger Podcast. Each of these betters myself in some way shape or form. I also started to spend 10 minutes before I fall asleep thinking about my dreams so I can manifest those dreams into reality. I spend one day each week conditioning my brain to let go of negativity faster without over thinking, because I have always been a HUGE over-thinker.
Since I’ve started implementing these changes, I truly feel that after these 6 months I have beat depression. I feel like I have full control over my mind and how I handle each situation. I can now sit there in the middle of an argument and tell myself I will not be mad about this tomorrow so it’s not worth it. And if I truly believe it will still make it upset, I address it. I have started a new career that I enjoy. My blog has been steadily growing and I’ve opened up my Etsy store helping bloggers and entrepreneurs with their website. My dreams are currently turning into a reality, and I can’t talk about my good news yet, but soon I get to share with you the main reason I know this process has worked for me!
