Putting together a nursery is something I’ve always looked forward to. Such an exciting time and super fun of course! But… as we all know, it’s not cheap. I’m proud of myself for the nursery I put together without going all out with the most expensive items. If you’re looking for some nursery inspiration, you’ve come to the right place! Carter’s nursery theme is woodland animals (or really any type of animal, haha).

My big ticket items were:
Crib – $219.99
Glider – $349.99
Dresser (The Hemnes 8 Drawer Dresser from IKEA) – $399.99
Rug – around $100 from Ocean State Job Lot
Mattress – $299.99
Here’s a few pictures of the nursery when it was finished! I love it so much and really find that it’s functional too! Carter didn’t start sleeping in his own room until 4 months but it was nice to have a place for all of his things. I also loved the woodland animal theme because we have so much wildlife where we live! It’s good for him to get familiar with these types of animals. Plus… they are just too cute!
